Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients. This is a highly consultative and hands-on architecture role focused on translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring successful project delivery.

You will act as the primary solution owner across projects, working closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leads to define architecture, guide implementation, and maximize platform capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for solution design, architecture governance, integration strategy, and ensuring all Salesforce implementations adhere to best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.

To be considered for this position, individuals must:

  • Have 10–15 years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 6–8 years focused on Salesforce solution design, implementation, and architecture.
  • Demonstrate proven experience leading 2–3 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations from discovery through deployment.
  • Have strong experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and define solution approaches.
  • Be comfortable leading technical teams and guiding architecture decisions across multiple projects.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, integrations, and enterprise solution design.
  • Demonstrate experience making architecture trade-offs for greenfield implementations, Salesforce org consolidation, and legacy CRM modernization.
  • Have led technical design reviews, architecture decisions, and resolution of complex cross-system dependencies.
  • We operate on a hybrid model. While we offer flexibility, candidates must be willing to relocate if a specific project demands it.
  • Be ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design Excellence

  • Lead discovery workshops and solution-design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Design scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform implementations.
  • Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, data models, integration designs, and technical documentation.
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend the appropriate balance of declarative and programmatic solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance to Technical Leads and development teams.
  • Multi-org architecture, scalability, licensing implications, and long-term technical debt.
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture, including non-functional requirements for performance, availability, observability, maintainability, and data residency.
  • Document architecture decision records, assumptions, constraints, design options, and traceability from requirements to solution components.

2. Delivery Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Own the overall solution architecture and delivery approach across concurrent Salesforce projects.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct solution reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
  • Support estimation activities, roadmap planning, risk management, and delivery governance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize the value and capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
  • Translate business requirements into solution options, effort estimates, delivery dependencies, technical risks, and phased implementation roadmaps.
  • Lead technical design walkthroughs, proof-of-concepts, critical design sign-offs, and cross-functional issue resolution.
  • Mentor technical leads and developers; raise engineering standards through design and code-review guidance.

3. Integration, Governance & Platform Strategy

  • Design secure and scalable integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications.
  • Define enterprise data models, security frameworks, sharing structures, and governance standards.
  • Establish reusable solution patterns and architecture standards across projects.
  • Review deployment strategies and release plans to support successful project delivery.
  • Support pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal discussions where architectural expertise is required.
  • Own integration patterns and interface contracts for synchronous/asynchronous APIs, events, middleware, retries, monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation.
  • Define data migration strategy covering profiling, cleansing, deduplication, mapping, loading, validation, reconciliation, and cutover/rollback.
  • Design Salesforce security using least privilege, sharing architecture, identity/SSO, access controls, and data protection requirements.
  • Guide DevOps and release governance including source control, CI/CD, automated testing, environments, deployment, and production readiness.
  • Plan integration and solution testing, performance validation, hypercare transition, and post-go-live technical stabilization.

Technical Skills & Education

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong preference for candidates from Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering backgrounds.
  • Core Salesforce Mastery: 10–15 years of overall experience with strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, integrations, and enterprise solution design.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of object modelling, security architecture, governor limits, Flow, Apex, LWC, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Architecture & Integration: Experience designing enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and external applications.
  • Data Architecture & Migration: Expertise in master data, data quality, large-volume data handling, migration patterns, and Salesforce data limits.
  • Security & Identity: Experience with role hierarchy, sharing, permission sets, SSO/OAuth, integration security, and secure design.
  • Engineering Governance: Ability to review Apex/LWC designs, asynchronous processing, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and platform limits.
  • Architecture Deliverables: Proven ownership of HLD/LLD, integration specifications, architecture decisions, NFRs, migration strategy, and cutover design.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and AI-powered Salesforce capabilities.
  • Exposure to MuleSoft or other middleware technologies.
  • Experience working on enterprise digital transformation programs.
  • Active involvement in Salesforce communities, user groups, or industry events.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
  • A natural analytical thinker and problem solver who enjoys solving complex business and technology challenges.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions constructively, explain trade-offs to senior stakeholders, and make evidence-based architecture recommendations.
  • Strong commercial awareness of delivery effort, technical risk, solution maintainability, and client value.
