Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, execution-focused HR Generalist & People Operations Specialist to anchor our workplace infrastructure. This is a highly operational role centered around building scalable HR processes and delivering an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. As a true people’s person who is firm yet friendly, you will serve as the primary operational anchor and trusted bridge between company leadership and our employees—balancing empathy and high emotional intelligence with the professional objectivity needed to implement structured workflows and uphold organizational accountability.

Working closely with Business Operations, you will manage our end-to-end People Operations engine, partnering with external recruitment vendors, universities, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to establish a structured, automated framework that supports our continued growth.

To be considered for this position, individuals must:

  • Have minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience as an HR Generalist within a technology company, IT services firm, consulting organization, or startup environment (Freshers will not be considered).
  • Be comfortable working from our Bengaluru office on a hybrid model.
  • Be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle & IT Coordination: Manage end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, and exit formalities; partner with Operations for laptop provisioning, asset allocation, and equipment recovery.
  • Recruitment & Direct Sourcing: Run hiring pipelines by posting roles, directly hunting passive tech talent via LinkedIn and Naukri, screening applicants, and coordinating candidate interviews.
  • Vendor & Compliance Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external tech recruitment agencies and compliance vendors (including POSH training and legal filing).
  • Campus Placement Drives: Plan, build, and execute university partnerships and placement activities to establish a structured pipeline for entry-level talent.
  • ATS Ownership: Manage the Applicant Tracking System, optimizing candidate workflows, interview scheduling, and overall recruitment data hygiene.
  • Performance Management: Administer the existing review process, tracking quarterly/annual goal-setting, manager evaluations, and appraisal timelines.
  • Policy & SOP Drafting: Partner with leadership to audit informal workflows and write structured, repeatable corporate SOPs, policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Culture, Engagement & Events: Take hands-on ownership of planning internal HR events, team-building activities, cultural celebrations, and Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs.

Technical Skills & Education

  • Core HR Operations: Proven track record of drafting formal corporate handbooks, developing step-by-step operational SOPs, and managing background verification (BGV) processes.
  • Sourcing & HR Systems: Practical experience operating an Applicant Tracking System (ATS/HRIS) alongside modern recruitment platforms like Naukri and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Business Productivity Tools: Highly proficient and comfortable working extensively with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace, alongside internal documentation platforms like Notion or Confluence.
  • AI Tool Literacy: Comfort with or exposure to utilizing modern AI tools (like ChatGPT or built-in ATS features) to speed up candidate communications, optimize boolean search strings, or streamline daily administrative drafting.
  • Compliance & Legal Frameworks: Solid working understanding of Indian labour laws, corporate statutory compliance, POSH frameworks, and basic employee data privacy practices.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience inside a scaling technology consulting, SaaS, or digital transformation firm.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR.

What We Offer

  • High-visibility People Operations with direct business leadership exposure.
  • Faster career growth and greater operational ownership across hiring, HR operations, and organizational initiatives.
  • A collaborative and flexible work culture with the rare opportunity to build a high-growth company’s People Operations engine from the ground up.
  • True autonomy to introduce automation, improve processes, and help shape the future of People Operations.
